अद‍ृष्ट्वान्यतमं लोके शीलौदार्यगुणै: समम् । अहं सुतो वामभवं पृश्न‍िगर्भ इति श्रुत: ॥ ४१ ॥

Transliteration

adṛṣṭvānyatamaṁ loke śīlaudārya-guṇaiḥ samam ahaṁ suto vām abhavaṁ pṛśnigarbha iti śrutaḥ

Translation

ലോകത്തിൽ ശീലം, ഔദാര്യം മുതലായ ഗുണങ്ങളിൽ നിങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ മറ്റാരെയും കാണാതെ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രനായി അവതരിച്ചു—‘പൃശ്നിഗർഭ’ എന്ന പേരിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധൻ, അഥവാ പൃശ്നിയുടെ ഗർഭത്തിൽ ജനിച്ചവൻ.
