पुरानेन व्रजपते साधवो दस्युपीडिता: । अराजके रक्ष्यमाणा जिग्युर्दस्यून्समेधिता: ॥ २० ॥
purānena vraja-pate sādhavo dasyu-pīḍitāḥ arājake rakṣyamāṇā jigyur dasyūn samedhitāḥ
ഹേ വ്രജപതേ നന്ദാ! പുരാണവൃത്താന്തപ്രകാരം, ഭരണകൂടം അക്രമവും അശക്തവുമായപ്പോൾ സജ്ജനർ കള്ളന്മാരാൽ പീഡിതരായി; ജനങ്ങളെ രക്ഷിക്കാനും ദുഷ്ടരെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കാനും ഈ ബാലൻ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു, അതിനാൽ പ്രജകൾ സുരക്ഷിതമായി സമൃദ്ധിച്ചു।
