The Brāhmaṇas’ Wives Blessed (Brāhmaṇa-patnī-prasāda) — Ritualism Humbled by Bhakti
श्रीशुक उवाच इति विज्ञापितो गोपैर्भगवान् देवकीसुत: । भक्ताया विप्रभार्याया: प्रसीदन्निदमब्रवीत् ॥ २ ॥
śrī-śuka uvāca iti vijñāpito gopair bhagavān devakī-sutaḥ bhaktāyā vipra-bhāryāyāḥ prasīdann idam abravīt
ശ്രീശുകൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഗോപബാലരുടെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ട ദേവകീസുതനായ ഭഗവാൻ, ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാരുടെ ഭാര്യമാരായ തന്റെ ഭക്തരെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ച്, ഇങ്ങനെ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
