tāsāṁ vāsāṁsy upādāya nīpam āruhya satvaraḥ hasadbhiḥ prahasan bālaiḥ parihāsam uvāca ha

അവരുടെ വസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ എടുത്ത് അദ്ദേഹം വേഗത്തിൽ കടമ്പമരത്തിൽ കയറി. പിന്നെ സ്വയം ഉച്ചത്തിൽ ചിരിച്ചും ബാലസഖാക്കളെയും ചിരിപ്പിച്ചും ഗോപികളെ പരിഹാസത്തോടെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്തു।
