शृणुष्वावहितो राजन्नपि गुह्यं वदामि ते । ब्रूयु: स्निग्धस्य शिष्यस्य गुरवो गुह्यमप्युत ॥ ३ ॥
śṛṇuṣvāvahito rājann api guhyaṁ vadāmi te brūyuḥ snigdhasya śiṣyasya guravo guhyam apy uta
ഹേ രാജാവേ, ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ കേൾക്കുക; ഞാൻ നിനക്കു ഈ ഗുഹ്യമായ കാര്യം പറയുന്നു. കാരണം ഗുരുക്കന്മാർ സ്നേഹമുള്ള, വിനീതനായ ശിഷ്യനോട് രഹസ്യവും ദുഷ്കരവുമായ വിഷയവും പോലും വിശദീകരിക്കും.
