The Lord Appears to the Devas and Instructs the Truce; Mandara Is Brought for Churning
श्रीशुक उवाच एवं विरिञ्चादिभिरीडितस्तद् विज्ञाय तेषां हृदयं यथैव । जगाद जीमूतगभीरया गिरा बद्धाञ्जलीन्संवृतसर्वकारकान् ॥ १६ ॥
śrī-śuka uvāca evaṁ viriñcādibhir īḍitas tad vijñāya teṣāṁ hṛdayaṁ yathaiva jagāda jīmūta-gabhīrayā girā baddhāñjalīn saṁvṛta-sarva-kārakān
ശ്രീശുകദേവ ഗോസ്വാമി പറഞ്ഞു—ബ്രഹ്മാദി ദേവന്മാർ ഇങ്ങനെ സ്തുതിച്ചപ്പോൾ, ഭഗവാൻ അവരുടെ ഹൃദയാഭിപ്രായം യഥാർത്ഥമായി അറിഞ്ഞു. തുടർന്ന് മേഘഗർജ്ജനത്തെപ്പോലെ ഗംഭീരമായ വാക്കുകളിൽ, കൈകൂപ്പി ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ നിന്ന ദേവന്മാരോട് മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു.
