Indra Slays Namuci—The Limits of Power and the Triumph of Divine Strategy
śrī-nārada uvāca bhavadbhir amṛtaṁ prāptaṁ nārāyaṇa-bhujāśrayaiḥ śriyā samedhitāḥ sarva upāramata vigrahāt
This verse states that those who take shelter of Nārāyaṇa’s arms attain amṛta—divine security and the fruit of immortality—and are guided toward peace rather than continued conflict.
Nārada emphasizes that the goal has been achieved by divine shelter and fortune; therefore, further fighting is unnecessary and contrary to the higher purpose of dharma and divine order.
Rely on the Lord through sincere bhakti—prayer, remembrance, and dharmic choices—so that once a goal is met, one can let go of ego-driven conflict and choose peace and gratitude.
