Ravana entered the city of Lanka holding Sita who was tossing from side to side and who was the very embodiment of his death.
A wrongful gain becomes self-destructive: what is seized through adharma turns into the very cause of ruin (karma returning upon the doer).
Rāvaṇa brings the abducted Sītā into Laṅkā, despite her resistance.
Sītā’s steadfast chastity and inner integrity are implied by her resistance; her presence becomes a moral force that exposes and condemns adharma.
