The luminous lord Agastya, having said this, gave all the excellent weapons to Rama. And continued :ityārṣē śrīmadrāmāyaṇē vālmīkīya ādikāvyē araṇyakāṇḍē dvādaśassargaḥ৷৷Thus ends the twelfth sarga of Aranyakanda of the holy Ramayana the first epic composed by sage Valmiki.
Legitimate power must be accepted for righteous ends: victory is framed as victory of dharma, not personal triumph.
Agastya formally offers the set of weapons to Rāma, urging him to accept them for the coming conflicts.
Responsible acceptance of duty—Rāma is invited to bear instruments of force only in service of justice.
