इषुभिर्बहुभिस्तूर्ण समरे लोमवाहिभि: । अदूरात्‌ पर्यवस्थाप्य पूरयामासुरादृता:,उन्होंने समरभूमिमें थोड़ी ही दूरपर पार्थकी गतिको कुण्ठित करके बड़े चावसे बहुसंख्यक पंखयुक्त बाणोंकी बौछार करते हुए उन्हें तुरंत दँक दिया

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | iṣubhir bahubhis tūrṇaṃ samare lomavāhibhiḥ | adūrāt paryavasthāpya pūrayāmāsur ādarāt ||

Translation

ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ໃນສະໜາມຮົບ ພວກເຂົາເຂົ້າປິດລ້ອມຢ່າງວ່ອງໄວຈາກໄລຍະບໍ່ໄກ, ຂັດຂວາງການຄືບໜ້າຂອງ ປາຣຖະ; ແລ້ວດ້ວຍໃຈຮຸ່ນແຮງ ພວກເຂົາກໍ່ຖອກທ້ວມດ້ວຍລູກສອນຈຳນວນຫຼາຍມີປີກ, ໄວຈົນເຮັດໃຫ້ຂົນລຸກ, ຈົນປົກຄຸມເຂົາໃນພິບຕາ.
