वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights reverence expressed through bodily humility (bowing, respectful touch) and the ethical ideal of internalizing what is worthy—keeping revered persons, vows, or sacred supports ‘within the mind’ as a guiding presence for conduct.
Arjuna (Pārtha) offers respectful obeisance and physical gesture of honor, then speaks a benediction-like statement that what he is addressing should remain present in his mind—signaling remembrance, resolve, and inward commitment amid the Virāṭa-period events.
