मनो: प्रजापतेलोंकानाप्रोति पुरुषर्षभ । कन्यायां ये प्रयच्छन्ति दानमण्वपि भारत
manoḥ prajāpate lokān āpnoti puruṣarṣabha | kanyāyāṁ ye prayacchanti dānam aṇv api bhārata ||
ຄູລັດສະຕະຍະ ກ່າວວ່າ: “ໂອ ຜູ້ເປັນດັ່ງງົວຜູ້ປະເສີດໃນບັນດາບຸລຸດ, ຜູ້ໃດກໍຕາມທີ່ໃຫ້ທານແມ່ນແຕ່ນ້ອຍນິດແກ່ນາງສາວ ຈະໄດ້ບັນລຸໂລກຂອງມະນຸ ພຣະເຈົ້າແຫ່ງປະຊາສັດ. ໂອ ພາຣະຕະ, ການໃຫ້ນັ້ນ ແມ່ນແຕ່ນ້ອຍກໍມີບຸນໃຫຍ່.”
घुलस्त्य उवाच
Even a small act of giving, when directed toward a socially protected recipient such as a maiden, is praised as highly meritorious; the verse links such charity with attaining exalted realms associated with Manu/Prajāpati, emphasizing the ethical weight of compassionate support.
Ghūlastya addresses a Kuru descendant (“Bhārata”), instructing him on dharma by extolling the spiritual fruit of charity—specifically, that even minimal gifts offered to a maiden yield great heavenly reward.
