न शोक: शोचमानस्य विनिवर्तेत कर्हिचित्‌ | “कुरुकुलके श्रेष्ठ वीरो! तुम दोनों गँवारोंकी तरह नासमझीके कारण इतना विषाद क्‍यों कर रहे हो? शोकमें डूबे रहनेसे किसी मनुष्यका शोक कभी निवृत्त नहीं होता

na śokaḥ śocamānasya vinivarteta karhicit |
