वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even immense power and righteous fury must be governed by self-mastery; true strength is shown when one restrains anger and acts within dharma, here expressed as disciplined obedience to a rightful leader (the elder brother).
The narrator characterizes Bhīma: though fierce and easily provoked, he contains his anger and remains under his brother’s command—highlighting the Pāṇḍavas’ internal discipline on the eve of major political and military decisions.
