Udyoga Parva, Adhyāya 72 — Bhīmasena’s counsel on conciliation and Duryodhana’s disposition

वाम्भिस्त्वप्रतिरूपाभिरतुदत्‌ त्वां सहानुजम्‌ । श्लाघमान: प्रहृष्ट: सन्‌ भ्रातृभि: सह भाषते

vāgbhis tv apratirūpābhir atudat tvāṃ sahānujam | ślāghamānaḥ prahṛṣṭaḥ san bhrātṛbhiḥ saha bhāṣate ||

ຢຸທິສຖິຣະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ດ້ວຍຖ້ອຍຄຳທີ່ບໍ່ສົມຄວນ ແລະບໍ່ເໝາະສົມ, ລາວໄດ້ທຳໃຫ້ພະອົງ ແລະນ້ອງຊາຍຂອງພະອົງເຈັບປວດຢ່າງລຶກຊຶ້ງ. ລາວລະເລີງດ້ວຍຄວາມຍິນດີ, ອວດອ້າງຊົມຕົນເອງ, ແລະເວົ້າກັບພີ່ນ້ອງຂອງລາວວ່າ: ‘ບັດນີ້ ພານດະວະທັງຫລາຍ ບໍ່ມີຫຍັງເລີຍໃນໂລກນີ້ທີ່ຈະເອີ້ນວ່າ “ຂອງຕົນ”. ເຫຼືອພຽງແຕ່ຊື່ ແລະວົງຕະກູນ—ແຕ່ແມ່ນກະທັ້ງນັ້ນ ກໍຈະບໍ່ເຫຼືອ’»។
