कि वै सहैवं चरथो न पुरा चरथ: सह । विरोचनैतत् पृच्छामि कि ते सख्यं सुधन्वना,[फिर प्रकटरूपमें विरोचनसे कहा--] विरोचन! मैं तुमसे पूछता हूँ, क्या सुधन्वाके साथ तुम्हारी मित्रता हो गयी है? फिर कैसे एक साथ आ रहे हो? पहले तो तुम दोनों कभी एक साथ नहीं चलते थे
kiṁ vai sahaivaṁ caratho na purā carathaḥ saha | virocanaitat pṛcchāmi kiṁ te sakhyaṁ sudhanvanā ||
ພຣະຫຼາດາກ່າວວ່າ: «ເປັນຫຍັງພວກເຈົ້າສອງຄົນຈຶ່ງເດີນມາຮ່ວມກັນແບບນີ້? ແຕ່ກ່ອນພວກເຈົ້າບໍ່ເຄີຍໄປມາຮ່ວມກັນ. ວິໂຣຈະນະ, ຂ້ອຍຖາມຢ່າງຊັດເຈນ—ເຈົ້າໄດ້ເປັນມິດກັບສຸທັນວາແລ້ວບໍ? ຖ້າແມ່ນ, ການຮ່ວມທາງນີ້ເກີດຂຶ້ນແນວໃດ?»
