द्वैरथे समरे नान्यो भीष्म॑ हन्यान्महाव्रतम् । शिखण्डिनमृते वीर॑ स मे सेनापतिर्मत:
dvairathe samare nānyo bhīṣmaṁ hanyān mahāvratam | śikhaṇḍinam ṛte vīra sa me senāpatir mataḥ ||
ພີມເສນາ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ໃນສົງຄາມການດວນລົດຮົບ ບໍ່ມີໃຜອື່ນຈະສາມາດສັງຫານ ພີສະມະ ຜູ້ຖືພຣະປະຕິຍານອັນຍິ່ງໃຫຍ່ ໄດ້ ນອກຈາກ ສິຄັນດິນ. ດັ່ງນັ້ນ ໂອ້ ວີຣະບຸລຸດ, ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຈຶ່ງເຫັນວ່າ ລາວເປັນແມ່ທັບຂອງພວກເຮົາ».
