वैशम्पायन उवाच
One should not initiate condemnable actions driven by anger or sinful intent; self-restraint and adherence to dharma are especially required in the presence of legitimate authority and in tense political moments.
A speaker, addressing a king, declares that although anger may arise, he will not begin a censurable act motivated by wrath and corrupt intention while standing before the king—signaling a deliberate choice to restrain violence or wrongdoing.
