वैशम्पायन उवाच एवमुक्त्वा तत: कृष्णम भ्यभाषत कौरव: । स्वर्ग्य लोक्यं च मामात्थ धर्म्य न्याय्यं च केशव
vaiśampāyana uvāca | evam uktvā tataḥ kṛṣṇam abhyabhāṣata kauravaḥ | svargyaṃ lokyaṃ ca mām āttha dharmyaṃ nyāyyaṃ ca keśava ||
ໄວສັມປາຍະນະກ່າວວ່າ: ເມື່ອກ່າວດັ່ງນັ້ນແລ້ວ ກໍຣະວະ (ທຣິຕະຣາສະຕະຣະ) ຈຶ່ງກ່າວກັບ ກຣິສນະ ວ່າ: «ໂອ ເກສະວະ, ສິ່ງທີ່ທ່ານໄດ້ກ່າວແກ່ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າ ເປັນປະໂຫຍດທັງໃນໂລກນີ້ ແລະໃນສະຫວັນ; ມັນສອດຄ່ອງກັບທັມມະ ແລະເປັນທຳອັນຍຸດຕິທຳ».
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Dhṛtarāṣṭra acknowledges that sound counsel should be evaluated by two standards: its benefit in this life (lokya) and its merit for the next (svargya), and that true guidance aligns with both dharma (righteous order) and nyāya (justice/reasoned propriety).
After a prior exchange (introduced by “having spoken thus”), Dhṛtarāṣṭra addresses Kṛṣṇa directly, affirming that Kṛṣṇa’s advice is wholesome, righteous, and just—setting a moral frame for the deliberations that precede the Kurukṣetra war.
