नारदकथितं माधव्याः तपश्चर्या–ययातेः स्वर्गविचारः | Nārada on Mādhavī’s Asceticism and the Scrutiny of Yayāti in Heaven
ऋचीकस्तु तथेत्युक्त्वा वरुणस्यालयं गत: । अश्वतीर्थे हयॉल्लब्ध्वा दत्तवान् पार्थिवाय वै ६ ।। “भगवन्! मुझे कनन््याके शुल्करूपमें एक हजार ऐसे घोड़े दीजिये, जो चन्द्रमाके समान कान्तिमान् हों तथा एक ओरसे उनके कान श्याम रंगके हों” गालव! तब ऋचीक मुनि “तथास्तु” कहकर वरुणके लोकमें गये और वहाँ अश्व॒तीर्थमें वैसे घोड़े प्राप्त करके उन्होंने राजा गाधिको दे दिये
Ṛcīkas tu tathety uktvā Varuṇasyālayaṁ gataḥ | Aśvatīrthe hayān labdhvā dattavān pārthivāya vai || 6 ||
ນາຣະດະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ຣຶຈີກະ ເມື່ອຕອບວ່າ “ເປັນດັ່ງນັ້ນ” ກໍໄປຍັງສຳນັກຂອງວະຣຸນະ. ທີ່ທ່ານ້ຳສັກສິດຊື່ ອັສວະຕີຣຖະ ທ່ານໄດ້ມ້າເຫຼົ່ານັ້ນ ແລະນຳໄປມອບແດ່ພຣະຣາຊາຢ່າງຖືກທຳນຽມ, ສະແດງນ້ຳໜັກແຫ່ງການຮັກສາຄຳສັດ ແລະການສຳເລັດພັນທະດ້ວຍທາງທີ່ຊອບທຳ.
