युपर्ण उवाच
The verse affirms an eternal divine order (Viṣṇu as beginningless and endless) and situates that order in a sacred landscape connected with revered beings (Ananta, Vāyu, Kaśyapa). It teaches that dharma is supported by remembrance of the divine and the authority of ancient ṛṣi-lineages.
Yuparṇa is describing a particular direction/region by identifying what sacred presences are located there—Ananta’s abode, Viṣṇu’s supreme station, Vāyu’s dwelling, and Kaśyapa’s hermitage—functioning like a guided map of holy sites and cosmic guardians.
