धृतराष्ट्रस्य मूर्च्छा—व्यासोपदेशः

Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Collapse and Vyāsa’s Counsel

कार्यार्थमुपसम्प्राप्ता देवतानां समीपत: । अनघ! वहाँ नारद आदि समस्त देवर्षि भी उपस्थित थे। पृथ्वीनाथ! मैंने वहीं इस पृथ्वीको भी देखा, जो किसी कार्यके लिये देवताओंके पास गयी थी

kāryārtham upasamprāptā devatānāṃ samīpataḥ | anagha! tatra nārada-ādi-samastadevarṣayo 'pi upasthitāḥ āsan | pṛthvīnātha! aham api tatraiva imāṃ pṛthivīm apaśyam, yā kasyacid kāryasya kṛte devatānāṃ samīpaṃ gatā āsīt |

ວຽສະກ່າວວ່າ: “ເພື່ອກິດຈະການອັນໜຶ່ງ ນາງໄດ້ເຂົ້າໄປຢູ່ເບື້ອງໜ້າເທວະ. ໂອ ຜູ້ບໍ່ມີມົນທິນ, ທີ່ນັ້ນກໍມີນາຣະດະ ແລະເທວະ຤ິທັງປວງຢູ່ພ້ອມ. ໂອ ຈອມແຜ່ນດິນ, ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຍັງໄດ້ເຫັນແມ່ທຣະນີ (ແຜ່ນດິນ) ຢູ່ທີ່ນັ້ນ—ນາງໄດ້ໄປຫາເທວະເພື່ອຂໍໃຫ້ຈຸດປະສົງໜຶ່ງສໍາເລັດ”.”
