Chapter 81: Trust, Allies, and the Qualifications of the King’s Artha-Secretary (अर्थसचिव)
क्षताद् भीतं विजानीयादुत्तमं मित्रलक्षणम् | ये तस्य क्षतमिच्छन्ति ते तस्य रिपव: स्मृता:
kṣatād bhītaṃ vijānīyād uttamaṃ mitralakṣaṇam | ye tasya kṣatam icchanti te tasya ripavaḥ smṛtāḥ ||
ພີສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: ຄວນຮູ້ຈັກເອົາເປັນເຄື່ອງໝາຍອັນສູງສຸດຂອງມິດແທ້ ຄືຜູ້ທີ່ຫວາດຫວັນເມື່ອເຫັນຄວາມເສຍຫາຍ ຫຼືການບາດເຈັບຂອງມິດຮ່ວມ. ຜູ້ໃດປາຖະໜາໃຫ້ເຂົາເສຍຫາຍ ຜູ້ນັ້ນຖືກຈື່ຈຳວ່າເປັນສັດຕູ. ໃນບົດບາດແຫ່ງກະສັດ ມິດຄືຜູ້ທີ່ພາຍໃນກິດທຳທາງທັມມະ ພະຍາຍາມປົກປ້ອງພະຣາຊາຈາກຄວາມຕົກຕ່ຳ ແລະເມື່ອຄວາມຮຸ່ງເຮືອງເກີດຂຶ້ນ ກໍສົ່ງເສີມສະຫວັດດີພາບຂອງພະອົງຕາມກຳລັງ.
