Daṇḍanīti and the King as the Cause of Yuga-Order (दण्डनीतिः राजधर्मश्च युगकारणत्वम्)

न्यसेत गुल्मान्‌ दुर्गेषु सनधौ च कुरुनन्दन । नगरोपवने चैव पुरोद्यानेषु चैव ह,कुरुनन्दन! राजाको किलोंमें, राज्यकी सीमापर तथा नगर और गाँवके बगीचोंमें सेना रखनी चाहिये

nyaset gulmān durgeṣu sanadhau ca kurunandana | nagaropavane caiva purodyāneṣu caiva ha ||
