कल्प्यां तेन तु ते प्राहुर्वृत्ति धर्मविदो जना: । द्विजातियोंमेंसे जिस किसीकी सेवा करनेके लिये कोई शूद्र आवे, उसीको उसकी जीविकाकी व्यवस्था करनी चाहिये; ऐसा धर्मज्ञ पुरुषोंका कथन है

Transliteration

kalpyāṁ tena tu te prāhur vṛttiṁ dharmavido janāḥ |

Translation

ພີສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: «ບັນດາຜູ້ຮູ້ທັມປະກາດວ່າ ຄວນຈັດຫາເຄື່ອງດຳລົງຊີວິດໃຫ້ຢ່າງຖືກຄວນແກ່ຜູ້ນັ້ນ—ໂດຍສະເພາະຊູດຣະ (Śūdra)—ຜູ້ມາເພື່ອຮັບໃຊ້ຜູ້ເກີດສອງຄັ້ງ (dvija). ດ້ວຍວິທີນີ້ ການຮັບໃຊ້ຈຶ່ງໄດ້ຮັບການຕອບແທນດ້ວຍການອຸປະຖຳຢ່າງຮັບຜິດຊອບ ໃຫ້ສອດຄ່ອງທັງໜ້າທີ່ສັງຄົມ ແລະຄວາມເມດຕາທາງຈິດໃຈ».
