वायुदेव उवाच ब्राह्म॒णास्तात लोके5स्मिन्नर्चनीया: सदा मम । एते भूमिचरा देवा वाग्विषा: सुप्रसादका:,श्रीकृष्ण बोले--तात! इस संसारमें ब्राह्मण मेरे लिये सदा ही पूजनीय हैं। ये पृथ्वीपर विचरनेवाले देवता हैं। कुपित होने पर इनकी वाणीमें विषका-सा प्रभाव होता है। ये सहज ही प्रसन्न होते और दूसरोंको भी प्रसन्न करते हैं
vāyudeva uvāca | brāhmaṇās tāta loke 'sminn arcanīyāḥ sadā mama | ete bhūmicarā devā vāgviṣāḥ suprasādakāḥ ||
ວາຍຸເທວະ ກ່າວວ່າ: “ລູກເອີຍ, ໃນໂລກນີ້ ພຣາຫມະນະທັງຫຼາຍ ເປັນຜູ້ຄວນໄດ້ຮັບການບູຊາສະເໝີສໍາລັບເຮົາ. ພວກເຂົາແມ່ນເທວະດາທີ່ເດີນຢູ່ເທິງພື້ນດິນ. ເມື່ອໂກດ ຖ້ອຍຄໍາຂອງພວກເຂົາອາດຈະກະທົບດັ່ງພິດ; ແຕ່ໂດຍທໍາມະຊາດ ພວກເຂົາພໍໃຈງ່າຍ ແລະຍັງນໍາຄວາມສະຫງົບ ແລະຄວາມພໍໃຈໃຫ້ຜູ້ອື່ນດ້ວຍ”។
