यां यामिच्छेत् तनुं देव: कर्तु कार्यविधौ क्वचित् । तां तां कुर्याद् विकुर्वाण: स्वयमात्मानमात्मना
yāṁ yām icchet tanuṁ devaḥ kartuṁ kārya-vidhau kvacit | tāṁ tāṁ kuryād vikurvāṇaḥ svayam ātmānam ātmanā ||
ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ເມື່ອໃດທີ່ພຣະເທວະປາດຖະໜາຈະຮັບຮ່າງໃດໜຶ່ງ ເພື່ອໃຫ້ການງານບາງຢ່າງສຳເລັດ, ໃນເວລານັ້ນເອງ ພຣະອົງກໍປະກົດຮູບນັ້ນ ໂດຍອຳນາດຂອງພຣະອົງເອງ, ປ່ຽນແປງພຣະອົງດ້ວຍພຣະອົງ, ເພື່ອໃຫ້ການງານທີ່ມຸ່ງໝາຍສຳເລັດ.
वैशग्पायन उवाच
The Supreme is free from limitation by any single form and can manifest whatever embodiment is required to accomplish a purpose—especially the maintenance of order and the fulfillment of dharma—acting through His own inherent power.
Vaiśaṃpāyana states a doctrinal point within the Śānti Parva’s reflective teaching: the Divine, when a task arises, assumes an appropriate form and becomes manifest to carry out that work, emphasizing purposeful manifestation rather than accidental embodiment.
