भीष्म उवाच अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम्‌ । ऋषीणां चैव संवादं त्रिदशानां च भारत

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam | ṛṣīṇāṃ caiva saṃvādaṃ tridaśānāṃ ca bhārata ||

Translation

ພີດສະມະເວົ້າວ່າ: «ໂອ ຜູ້ສືບສາຍພະຣະຕະ, ໃນເລື່ອງນີ້ ບັນດາຜູ້ຮູ້ກໍມັກອ້າງອີງຕຳນານເກົ່າແກ່ອັນໜຶ່ງ—ເປັນເລື່ອງບູຮານອັນສັກສິດ ທີ່ຈັດວາງເປັນບົດສົນທະນາລະຫວ່າງພຣະຣິສີ ແລະເທວະທັງຫຼາຍ»
