त॑ ददर्शाश्रमपदे नारद: सुमहातपा: । अथैनमब्रवीत् काले मथुराक्षरया गिरा,उसी समय महातपस्वी नारदजी उस आश्रमपर पधारकर व्यासजीसे मिले और मधुर अक्षरोंसे युक्त मीठी वाणीमें उनसे इस प्रकार बोले--
taṁ dadarśāśramapade nāradaḥ sumahātapāḥ | athainam abravīt kāle madhurākṣarayā girā ||
ແລ້ວພຣະນາຣະດະ ຜູ້ບໍາເພັນຕະປະຢ່າງຍິ່ງ ໄດ້ເຫັນທ່ານຢູ່ທີ່ອາສຣົມ. ໃນຍາມທີ່ຄວນແກ່ການ ທ່ານໄດ້ເວົ້າກັບທ່ານດ້ວຍສຽງອ່ອນໂຍນ ແລະຖ້ອຍຄໍາຫວານທີ່ເລືອກສັນຢ່າງດີ—ເປັນການເລີ່ມຕົ້ນຄໍາແນະນໍາທີ່ປະດັບດ້ວຍຄວາມສຸພາບ ແລະການຮູ້ຈັກກາລະເທດ.
