tasya bhuktavatastāta tadantaḥpurakānanam
The verse is primarily narrative, but it implicitly highlights decorum and the structured privacy of royal life—movement into the antaḥpura (inner quarters) is a socially marked act, often signaling intimacy, secrecy, or a transition to private matters.
After finishing his meal, the person being described proceeds into the secluded garden associated with the inner palace quarters (antaḥpura-kānanam), indicating a shift from public activity to a private, interior space.
