यथेह यत् कृत॑ शुभं विपाप्मभि: कृतात्मभि: । तदाप्रुवन्ति मानवास्तथा विशुद्धयोनय:,निष्पाप पुण्यात्मा पुरुषोंद्वारा इस लोकमें जो शुभ कर्म सम्पादित होता है, जन्मान्तरमें विशुद्ध योनिमें जन्म लेकर उसका वैसा ही फल पाते हैं
yatheha yat kṛtaṁ śubhaṁ vipāpmabhiḥ kṛtātmabhiḥ | tad āpnuvanti mānavās tathā viśuddha-yonayaḥ ||

व्यास उवाच
Auspicious actions performed by the sinless and self-disciplined bear corresponding fruits, including elevated and purified rebirth; moral quality of action determines the quality of future experience.
In the didactic discourse of the Śānti Parva, Vyāsa states a general principle of karmic fruition: good deeds done in this life lead to appropriate rewards, often expressed as birth in a purified womb and the attainment of the deed’s fruit in a subsequent life.
