Persistent, daily contemplation of the Supreme Self leads to detachment from Prakṛti and culminates in direct realization of the transcendent ‘twenty-sixth’ principle—God/the Supreme beyond the standard Sāṅkhya enumeration.
In a didactic exchange, the sage Yājñavalkya instructs Kāśyapa about the inner discipline of continuous contemplation and its fruit: freedom from Prakṛti’s entanglement and realization of the highest reality.
