न लोके दीप्यते मूर्ख: केवलात्मप्रशंसया । अपि चापिहित: श्वश्रे कृतविद्य: प्रकाशते
na loke dīpyate mūrkhaḥ kevalātmapraśaṃsayā | api cāpihitaḥ śvaśre kṛtavidyaḥ prakāśate ||
ນາຣະດະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ໃນໂລກນີ້ ຄົນໂງ່ບໍ່ອາດສ່ອງສະຫວ່າງແທ້ ໂດຍການຍ້ອງຕົນເອງຢ່າງດຽວ. ແຕ່ຜູ້ທີ່ໄດ້ຮຽນຮູ້ແລະຊໍານານຢ່າງແທ້ຈິງ ຈະປາກົດໂດຍຄຸນຄ່າຂອງຕົນ—ແມ່ນແຕ່ຖືກປິດບັງໄວ້ ດັ່ງຖືກແມ່ຜົວຄຸ້ມຄອງປົກປິດ».
