जब ब्रह्माजीने इस प्रकार कहा और यज्ञमें भाग मिलनेकी भी व्यवस्था हो गयी, तब महादेवजी अमिततेजस्वी भगवान् ब्रह्मासे इस प्रकार बोले--“तथास्तु' ऐसा ही हो ।।
tathāstu—ity evaṃ bhavatu. parāṃ ca prītim agamad utsmayan caiva pinākadhṛk | avāpa ca tadā bhāgaṃ yathoktaṃ brahmaṇā bhavaḥ ||
ພີດສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: «ເມື່ອພຣະພຣະຫມາກ່າວເຊັ່ນນັ້ນ ແລະໄດ້ຈັດໃຫ້ມີການແບ່ງສ່ວນໃນພິທີຍັດຍະແລ້ວ, ມະຫາເທວະຜູ້ມີຣັດສະຫມີຫາຂອບເຂດບໍ່ໄດ້ ກ່າວຕໍ່ພຣະພຣະຫມາວ່າ: ‘ຕະຖາສະຕຸ—ໃຫ້ເປັນຕາມນັ້ນ.’ ແລ້ວຜູ້ຖືຄັນທະນູປິນາກະກໍຍິ້ມ ເກີດຄວາມພໍໃຈຢ່າງເລິກຊຶ້ງ, ແລະ ພະພະວະ (ພຣະສິວະ) ໄດ້ຮັບສ່ວນຍັດຍະໃນເວລານັ້ນ ຕາມທີ່ພຣະພຣະຫມາໄດ້ກ່າວໄວ້.»
