यद्य॒त्र किंचित् प्रत्यक्षमहिंसाया: परं मतम् । ऋते त्वागमशास्त्रेभ्यो ब्रूहि तद् यदि पश्यसि
yady atra kiñcit pratyakṣam ahiṁsāyāḥ paraṁ matam | ṛte tv āgamaśāstrebhyo brūhi tad yadi paśyasi ||
ກະປິລະກ່າວວ່າ: «ຖ້ານອກເໜືອຈາກປະເພນີແຫ່ງຄຳພີ ເຈົ້າເຫັນໂດຍກົງວ່າມີຫຼັກທຳໃດທີ່ສູງກວ່າອະຫິງສາ (ການບໍ່ເຮັດຮ້າຍ) ຫຼືຖ້າເຈົ້າຊີ້ໃຫ້ເຫັນຜົນທີ່ຈັບຕ້ອງໄດ້ຈາກຄຳສອນທີ່ສົ່ງເສີມຄວາມຮຸນແຮງ—ຈົ່ງກ່າວອອກມາໃຫ້ຊັດ ຖ້າເຈົ້າເຫັນຈິງ.»
