यत्राहं तत्र मत्कान्ता मद्विशिष्टा मदर्पणा:
yatrāhaṃ tatra matkāntā madviśiṣṭā madarpaṇāḥ
ສັກກະ (Śakra) ກ່າວວ່າ: «ບ່ອນໃດທີ່ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຢູ່ ບ່ອນນັ້ນຍ່ອມມີຜູ້ອັນເປັນທີ່ຮັກຂອງຂ້າພະເຈົ້າ—ຜູ້ທີ່ອຸທິດໃຈແກ່ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າ ໂດດເດັ່ນດ້ວຍຄວາມຈົ່ງຮັກພັກດີ ແລະຖວາຍຕົນທັງປວງແກ່ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າ».
शक्र उवाच
The verse emphasizes the ethical-spiritual principle of exclusive dedication: those who are truly “offered” to a higher ideal (here, Śakra/Indra) are defined by that allegiance and are considered inseparable from it—where the lord is, there are his devoted ones.
Śakra speaks in the didactic setting of Śānti Parva, describing the nature of those connected to him: his dear ones are characterized by devotion and self-offering, and their presence is implied wherever he is present.
