आकाशे ददृशे ज्योतिरुद्यतार्चि:समप्रभम् । तयो: समीप त॑ प्राप्तं॑ प्रत्यदुश्यत भारत
ākāśe dadṛśe jyotir udyatārciḥ-samaprabham | tayoḥ samīpaṃ tat prāptaṃ pratyadṛśyata bhārata ||
ພີດສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: ໃນຟ້າໄດ້ປາກົດມີແສງສະຫວ່າງອັນໜຶ່ງ ລຸກໂຊນດ້ວຍຄວາມສະຫວ່າງດຸດດັ່ງອັນຕະລັງໄຟທີ່ກຳລັງຜຸດຂຶ້ນ. ໂອ ພາຣະຕະ, ມັນຖືກເຫັນວ່າກຳລັງເຂົ້າມາໃກ້ທັງສອງ ປານດັ່ງດວງອາທິດທີສອງເຂົ້າມາໃກ້ດວງອາທິດທີ່ພຶ່ງຂຶ້ນ—ເປັນສະຫງ່າງາມທິບອັນນ່າພິສົດ ຄ່ອຍໆເຂົ້າມາທີລະກ້າວ.
भीष्म उवाच
The verse underscores how extraordinary, luminous phenomena are framed as meaningful signs within dharma discourse: divine radiance is not mere spectacle but a narrative marker that the moral-spiritual order is actively present, guiding or confirming the path of the righteous.
Bhīṣma describes a striking vision in the sky: a blazing, sunlike divine light appears and is seen moving closer to “those two,” heightening the sense of an omen or celestial visitation within the ongoing Shānti Parva narration.
