स्वर्ग उवाच
The verse teaches impartiality in the distribution of spiritual results: when merit is comparable, there should be no quarrel, and both parties should accept an equal share of the reward. It also elevates non-contention (avivāda) as an ethical ideal.
Heaven (Svarga) appears in a tangible, embodied form and addresses a king, intervening to stop a dispute between two individuals. Svarga declares that both disputants deserve the same outcome and instructs them to avoid conflict.
