दिष्ट्या दुर्योधन: पापो निहत:ः सानुगो युधि । द्रौपद्या: केशपाशस्य दिष्ट्या त्वं पदवीं गत:,'सौभाग्यकी बात है कि पापी दुर्योधन सेवकोंसहित युद्धमें मारा गया; और सौभाग्यसे ही आप दुःशासनके हाथसे मुक्त हुए द्रौपदीके केशपाशकी भाँति युद्धसे छुटकारा पा गये

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: diṣṭyā duryodhanaḥ pāpo nihataḥ sānugo yudhi | draupadyāḥ keśapāśasya diṣṭyā tvaṃ padavīṃ gataḥ ||

ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ໂຊກດີແທ້ ທຸຣະໂຍທະນະ ຜູ້ບາບ ຖືກສັງຫານໃນສະໜາມຮົບ ພ້ອມທັງພວກພ້ອມພັນຂອງລາວ. ແລະໂຊກດີເຊັ່ນກັນ ເຈົ້າກໍໄດ້ເຖິງ ‘ທ້າຍທາງ’—ພົ້ນຈາກພະຍຸອັນຕະລາຍ—ດັ່ງຜົມທີ່ຖືກມັດຂອງ ດຣໍປະດີ ທີ່ສຸດທ້າຍກໍຖືກປົດປ່ອຍຈາກການຫຍັບຫຍາມນັ້ນ».
