लोकयात्रार्थमेवेह धर्मप्रवचनं कृतम्‌ । अहिंसासाधुहिंसेति श्रेयान्‌ धर्मपरिग्रह:

Transliteration

lokayātrārtham eveha dharmapravacanaṁ kṛtam | ahiṁsā sādhuhīṁseti śreyān dharmaparigrahaḥ ||

Translation

ອາຈຸນກ່າວວ່າ: «ຄຳສອນແຫ່ງທຳມະໄດ້ຖືກປະກາດຂຶ້ນໃນໂລກນີ້ ເພື່ອຄ້ຳຈຸນການດຳເນີນຊີວິດຂອງໂລກ. ເມື່ອເກີດຄວາມລຳບາກ—ຈະຖືອະຫິງສາໃນທຸກກໍລະນີ ຫຼືຈະໃຊ້ຄວາມຮຸນແຮງຕໍ່ຄົນຊົ່ວ—ການກະທຳທີ່ຄຸ້ມຄອງແລະປົກປ້ອງທຳມະນັ້ນ ແມ່ນທາງທີ່ດີກວ່າ».
