Apaddharma Determination: Dialogue of Viśvāmitra and the Śvapaca
'भैया! इस नेवलेसे मुझे बड़ा डर लग रहा है। इसलिये मैं तुम्हारे पीछे इस जालमें प्रवेश कर जाऊँगा, परंतु दादा! तुम मुझे मार न डालना, बचा लेना; क्योंकि जीवित रहनेपर ही मैं तुम्हारी रक्षा करनेमें समर्थ हूँ ।।
bhīṣma uvāca | ulūkāc caiva māṃ rakṣa kṣudraḥ prārthayate hi mām | ahaṃ chetsyāmi te pāśān sakhe satyena te śape ||
ພີດສະມະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ອ້າຍເອີຍ! ຂ້ອຍຢ້ານເນວເລນີ້ຫຼາຍ. ດັ່ງນັ້ນຂ້ອຍຈະເຂົ້າໃນຕາຂ່າຍນີ້ຕາມຫຼັງເຈົ້າ; ແຕ່ອ້າຍໃຫຍ່ເອີຍ ຢ່າຂ້າຂ້ອຍ—ຂໍຊ່ວຍຂ້ອຍ; ເພາະມີແຕ່ເມື່ອຂ້ອຍຍັງມີຊີວິດ ຂ້ອຍຈຶ່ງຈະປົກປ້ອງເຈົ້າໄດ້. ແລະຂໍປົກປ້ອງຂ້ອຍຈາກນົກຮູກດ້ວຍ—ສັດຕ່ຳຊ້ານັ້ນກຳລັງຈະເອົາຊີວິດຂ້ອຍ. ມິດເອີຍ, ຂ້ອຍສາບານດ້ວຍຄວາມຈິງວ່າ ຂ້ອຍຈະຕັດພັນທະຂອງເຈົ້າ».
