आपद्धर्मे कोशबलन्यायः | Treasury, Force, and Crisis-Ethics for the King
इह द्रक्ष्यामि त॑ पुत्र द्रक्ष्यामीहेति पार्थिव: । एवमाशाहतो राजा चरन् वनमिदं पुरा
iha drakṣyāmi taṁ putra drakṣyāmīheti pārthivaḥ | evam āśāhato rājā caran vanam idaṁ purā ||
ພີດສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: «ຢູ່ນີ້ແຫຼະ ຂ້ອຍຈະໄດ້ເຫັນລູກນັ້ນ—ຢູ່ນີ້ແທ້ໆ ຂ້ອຍຈະໄດ້ເຫັນເຂົາ»។ ດັ່ງນັ້ນ ກະສັດຜູ້ເປັນເຈົ້າແຜ່ນດິນ ຖືກຜູກມັດໄວ້ດ້ວຍຄວາມຫວັງ ແລະໃນການກ່ອນໄດ້ພາຕົນເອງພະເດີນວົນຢູ່ໃນປ່ານີ້ ເພາະຄວາມປາຖະໜາຈະໄດ້ຄືນສິ່ງທີ່ສູນເສຍໄປ.
भीष्म उवाच
Hope can be a sustaining force that drives one to continue difficult effort, but it can also bind the mind to expectation; the ethical lesson is to act with perseverance while seeking clarity rather than being consumed by mere anticipation.
A king, yearning to see his son again, repeatedly tells himself that he will surely find him ‘here’ and, propelled by that hope, roams through the forest searching.
