Adhyāya 115: On Restraint Under Verbal Provocation in the Assembly (सभायां आक्रोश-सहिष्णुता)

अरुष्यन्‌ क्रुश्यमानस्थ सुकृतं नाम विन्दति । दुष्कृतं चात्मनो मर्षी रुष्यत्येवापमार्दि वै,जो निन्‍्दा करनेवाले पुरुषके ऊपर क्रोध नहीं करता, वह उसके पुण्यको प्राप्त कर लेता है। वह सहनशील मनुष्य अपना सारा पाप उस क्रोधी पुरुषपर ही धो डालता है

aruṣyan kruśyamānaḥ sukṛtaṃ nāma vindati | duṣkṛtaṃ cātmano marṣī ruṣyaty evāpamārdi vai ||

ພີສະມະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ຜູ້ໃດຖືກດ່າທໍາລາຍແຕ່ບໍ່ໂກດ ຜູ້ນັ້ນຍ່ອມໄດ້ຮັບບຸນ (puṇya) ຂອງຜູ້ດ່າ. ຜູ້ອົດທົນ ໂດຍການອົດກັ້ນ ຍ່ອມສະລັດອອກຊຶ່ງບາບຂອງຕົນ; ແທ້ຈິງແລ້ວ ຜູ້ດ່າທີ່ໂກດນັ້ນເອງກັບເປັນຜູ້ແບກຄວາມມົນທິນ.»
