वायुदेव उवाच
Equal instruction does not guarantee equal excellence; innate power (Bhīma’s strength) and cultivated discipline (Duryodhana’s sustained effort) both matter, and ethical responsibility lies in how one applies training and effort.
Vāyudeva compares Bhīma and Duryodhana: both received comparable teaching, but Bhīma exceeds in raw strength while Duryodhana is portrayed as more persistent in practice and exertion—setting up a contrast relevant to their rivalry in the war context.
