वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse upholds brahmacarya, tapas, and yoga as ethical-spiritual disciplines that refine character and lead to higher states of attainment; it presents self-restraint and sustained practice as a legitimate path to spiritual perfection.
The narrator points out that in that very place there lived a spiritually accomplished Brahmin woman who had maintained celibate discipline since youth; through yogic absorption and the power of austerity she departs to heaven.
