वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the cultural-ethical priority given to yajña (sacrificial duty): even the gods respond collectively when a righteous rite is underway, implying that sustaining sacred order through proper ritual and cooperation is a shared responsibility.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that the gods’ priest, after hearing some report, summons all the gods and urges them to go to the place where Trita’s sacrifice is currently being performed.
