वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights orderly conduct in deliberation: once a divine assembly has served its purpose, it is formally dismissed, and the principal interlocutors continue the discussion. It underscores propriety, hierarchy, and clarity in counsel—elements closely tied to dharma in governance and decision-making.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Prajāpati sends away all the gods who were present. After the assembly disperses, Soma—pleased—speaks again to Prajāpati, indicating that further instruction or dialogue is about to follow.
