अध्याय ९ — दुर्योधनस्य अन्त्यावस्था, विलापः, तथा सौप्तिक-प्रतिवृत्तम्
Duryodhana’s Final Condition, Lamentation, and the Night’s Report
प्राणानुपासृजद् वीर: सुहृदां दुःखमुत्सूजन् । अपाक्रामद् दिवं पुण्यां शरीरं क्षितिमाविशत्
prāṇān upāsṛjad vīraḥ suhṛdāṁ duḥkham utsṛjan | apākrāmad divaṁ puṇyāṁ śarīraṁ kṣitim āviśat ||
ສັນຊະຍະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ວິລະຊົນນັ້ນໄດ້ປ່ອຍລົມຫາຍໃຈແຫ່ງຊີວິດ ພ້ອມທັງປະຖິ້ມຄວາມໂສກທີ່ກົດທັບໃຈຂອງຜູ້ປາດຖະນາດີຕໍ່ລາວ. ລາວໄດ້ຈາກໄປສູ່ສະຫວັນອັນມີບຸນ ແຕ່ຮ່າງກາຍຂອງລາວໄດ້ເຂົ້າສູ່ດິນ—ຍັງຄົງຢູ່ເທິງພື້ນນີ້.
