सो<ब्रवीज्जातसंरम्भस्तथा लोकगुरुर्गुरुम्‌ । प्रजा: सृष्टा: परेणेमा: कि करिष्याम्यनेन वै,यह प्रश्न सुनकर कुपित हुए जगदगुरु शिवने ब्रह्माजीसे कहा--'प्रजाकी सृष्टि तो दूसरेने कर डाली; फिर इस लिंगको रखकर मैं क्या करूँगा

so 'bravīj jāta-saṁrambhas tathā loka-gurur gurum | prajāḥ sṛṣṭāḥ pareṇemāḥ ki kariṣyāmy anena vai ||

ໄວສັມປາຍະນະກ່າວວ່າ: ເມື່ອໄດ້ຍິນຄຳຖາມນັ້ນ ພຣະເຈົ້າແຫ່ງໂລກທັງປວງ ກໍເກີດຄວາມໂກດຂຶ້ນທັນທີ ແລ້ວກ່າວກັບຄູອາຈານຜູ້ໃຫຍ່ (ພຣະພຣະຫມາ) ວ່າ: “ສັດເຫຼົ່ານີ້ ຜູ້ອື່ນໄດ້ສ້າງແລ້ວ; ແລ້ວຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຈະເຮັດຫຍັງໂດຍການເກັບຮັກສາລິງຄະນີ້?”
