तत् प्रविद्धं तथा भूमौ तथैव प्रत्यतिष्ठत । तमुवाचाव्ययो ब्रह्मा वचोभि: शमयन्निव,इस प्रकार भूमिपर डाला गया वह लिंग उसी रूपमें प्रतिष्ठित हो गया। तब अविनाशी ब्रह्माने अपने वचनोंद्वारा उन्हें शान्त करते हुए-से कहा--
tat praviddhaṃ tathā bhūmau tathaiva pratyatiṣṭhata | tam uvācāvyayo brahmā vacobhiḥ śamayann iva ||
